Servo Electronics

Servo Electronics

Laser servo electronics produce a control signal that maintains an output of a device (the "plant") at or near a predetermined set point. The control signal is a response to a measurement of how far the system is away from the set point (the error signal).

Vescent laser servo electronics are a key component to laser frequency locks, offset phase locks, amplitude locks, and repetition rate locks, as well as locking fCEO, ƒopt, and ƒrep of a frequency comb. Our servo electronics can be configured for a Pound Drever Hall laser lock (peak lock).
