Servo Electronics

Servo Electronics

Servo electronics produce a control signal that maintains an output of a device (the "plant") at or near a predetermined set point.  The control signal is a response to a measurement of how far the system is away from the set point (the error signal).

Vescent laser servos are a key component to laser frequency locks, offset phase locks, amplitude locks, repetition rate locks, as well as locking ƒCEO, ƒopt, and ƒrep of a frequency comb.  Our servos can be configured for a Pound Drever Hall laser lock (PDH lock).
