Obtaining an Offset Phase Lock while using the D2-125 Peak Lock Feature
In this video, we discuss optimizing the D2-125's peak lock phase and dither to reduce noise on the locking beat note seen by the D2-135. A full tutorial on system setup is given, as well as a demonstration of an offset phase lock between two D2-100 DBR lasers. The absolute frequency is set by locking the leader laser to a peak of the rubidium-saturated absorption spectrum, and relative frequency stability between the lasers is determined by the offset phase lock.
