Vescent Expands to the UK with New Entity at NPL

Vescent Technologies, Inc. – a world-leading manufacturer of foundational quantum tech consisting of frequency combs, optical atomic clocks, and timing distribution solutions for leading-edge research and rugged field use, enabling quantum computing and quantum timing based in Colorado, USA – is excited to announce plans to establish a UK entity, marking a significant milestone in its international growth strategy. Vescent’s UK entity will be located at the National Physical Laboratory (NPL) Institute of Quantum Standards and Technologies (IQST), enabling it to expand its already close collaboration with NPL’s time and frequency team.

The decision to expand into the United Kingdom reflects the country's strong position in quantum computing and next-generation quantum timing and timing distribution pioneered at NPL, and as a global hub for quantum technologies, its highly skilled talent pool, and its commitment to fostering innovation through supportive policy frameworks and world-class research institutions.
