ICE (Integrated Control Electronics) is a compact suite of digitally controlled electronics that will precisely drive and stabilize our D2-100 DBR lasers and an associated array of photonics tools. It will simplify your experimental design and reduce SWaP while still providing the same high performance we offer in our D2 modular units.

The ICE-CP1 is a board-level current driver and offset phase lock servo integrated onto the same PCB. Tight integration improves the performance of both components that are needed to drive and stabilize a precision diode laser.

We have used the Libbrecht-Hall current driver design once again because it continues to be the lowest noise current source available on the market.

The servo features a full 3 MHz of bandwidth – limited only by the 4 MHz peak lock dither.  It will provide a tight peak lock to an error signal without the use of an external modulation source and lock in amplifier.

Features:

  • Libbrecht-Hall current source
  • Lowest current noise available
  • PID offset phase lock servo
  • 3 MHz bandwidth
  • Internal ramp
